EVENT DESCRIPTION
M+, Asia’s first global museum of contemporary visual culture in the West Kowloon Cultural District in Hong Kong, invites visitors to experience the museum in a whole new way at the M+ at Night on Friday, 1 March 2024, which will be a special night where dynamic lighting, energetic music, exciting creative activities and food and drinks take over. Participants can unwind from the stresses of everyday life and connect with friends and like-minded souls.
M+ invites creative collective Yeti Out to programme a wide range of activities themed ‘Hong Kong Street Culture’ for participants to explore the streets and alleys of the city through mediums including sound, moving image and typography. Participants can imagine the interactions between people and their surroundings and places and discover how their everyday lives shapes the diverse street culture.
The creative direction, concept, and curation of M+ at Night is a collaboration between M+ and Jason Swamy (Do What You Love Asia Ltd) and Hugo Belloy (Dreams and Dreams Ltd). Studio Raito is the lighting designer of the night.
