The HK Phil presents an all-Beethoven programme of beloved classics. International Tchaikovsky Competition Silver Medallist George Li joins leader Glenn Christensen and the orchestra in the spirited Piano Concerto no. 1. Enjoy music-making shaped by close collaboration and musical rapport as the concert begins with the dramatic Creatures of Prometheus Overture and concludes with the youthful First Symphony, celebrating Beethoven’s early masterpieces with charm, clarity and chamber-music like connection.
