Events and performances venues will finally reopen in a few weeks to our greatest delight.
In the meantime, we can still enjoy online concerts by the finest musicians from Hong Kong Sinfonietta, as well as formidable exhibitions featuring celebrated artists like American icons Jean-Michel Basquiat, Keith Haring and Kenny Scharf, Chinese contemporary artist Yue Minjun, Hong Kong legend Kurt Chan, French Jules de Balincourt, New York-based Jon Burgerman and Hong Kong female artists born in the 1990s.

TINY GALAXY CONCERTS @ WONTONMEEN EPISODE 9 (FEATURING CHRISTOPH POPPEN)
Hong Kong Sinfonietta offers online chamber concert series filmed in their tiny galaxy of music in Sham Shui Po with the orchestra’s very own musicians, like Principal Guest Conductor and violin Christopher Poppen, as well as international star artists.

BASQUIAT, HARING, SCHARF
This large-scale group exhibition celebrates the work and friendship of three American icons, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Keith Haring and Kenny Scharf, and explores their vernacular and radical artistic dialogue pulsating in New York’s East Village during the late 1970s and early 1980s.

YUE MINJUN: SMILE AT THE FLOWER SERMON
This exhibition represents a remarkable return of renowned contemporary Chinese artist Yue Minjun after a 10-year hiatus. The exhibition presents his iconic Laughter series and the new Flower series since the pandemic, proving once again his ability to handle difficulties with grace.

JON BURGERMAN: NEW FRIENDS
Against the backdrop of an increasingly divided world, New York based artist Jon Burgerman celebrates our differences, gathering its audience under the shared joy of creativity and expression, with his oversaturated characters, excited to make new friends.

ONCE UPON
In celebration of Women’s History Month of March, this group exhibition features six emerging Hong Kong female artists born in the 1990s and offers a visual memoir showcasing abstract to figurative paintings of artists’ relationship between the inner state and the outside world.

JULES DE BALINCOURT: BIRDS ON A BOAT
Rendered in rich colours, paintings in the show span landscape and figuration, exploring the relationships between humanity and the natural world, and reflect de Balincourt’s interest in using the canvas to merge his own psychological landscape with external, global landscapes.

LOVE & REBORN
This abundant pop art exhibition features ten artists from different countries and cultural background, which artworks are subtly reflecting on each other despite their distinct styles, helping viewers to regain hope and embrace the future full of challenges.
