In anticipation of Hong Kong art month in March, we have selected eight cultural happenings that will please literature and art masterpieces lovers, theatre and illusion fans, jazz aficionados, as well as francophiles.
EVENTS IN FOCUS
PICASSO FOR ASIA: A CONVERSATION

The special exhibition is a rich intercultural and intergenerational dialogue between more than sixty masterpieces by Pablo Picasso from the Musée national Picasso-Paris, which holds the largest collection of works by Picasso in the world, and over eighty works by thirty Asian and Asian-diasporic artists from the M+ Collections and select loans from a museum, a foundation, and private collections.

PREMIERE PERFORMANCES JAZZ CONCERT: EKEP NKWELLE QUARTET

American vocalist Ekep Nkwelle is a force in today’s jazz scene. She is touring with Sequoia Redwood (Piano), Russell Hall (Bass) and Anwar Marshall (Drums) as part of Jazz at Lincoln Centre on tour. Drinks will be available for purchase at the bar at the venue!

HONG KONG INTERNATIONAL LITERARY FESTIVAL

Bringing emerging and established writers to Hong Kong, the festival will take place at venues across the city, from The Central Library to Soho House and beyond. Programming includes literary lunches, workshops, family events, International Women’s Day spotlights and an array of diverse sessions, ensuring a fantastic time for bookworms of all ages.

CÉZANNE AND RENOIR: LOOKING AT THE WORLD

This exhibition features 52 priceless masterpieces from two of the most prestigious art museums in Paris, bringing to Hong Kong national treasures of France that are adored by audiences worldwide. The exhibits serve as testament to the remarkable artistic achievements of Cézanne and Renoir, highlighting the intersections in their careers.

LOVE BEYOND

Love Beyond is a beautiful, tender and visually creative show devised and performed by award-winning physical storyteller Ramesh Meyyappan, as part of No Limits 2025. It incorporates BSL, visual language and oral dialogue. The absence of subtitles is an artistic choice intended to present an equal experience for deaf and hearing audiences.

Following the success of its inaugural edition in 2024, this year’s event promises to be bigger and better, featuring a dynamic mix of music, fashion, art and streetwear culture.
