HKIFF49 – 49th HONG KONG INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL

HKIFF49 features more than 300 screenings, including six world premieres, two international premieres, and 52 Asian premieres. Renowned international filmmakers such as Leos Carax, Albert Serra, Juho Kuosmanen and Ando Sakura will join the festival to present their works and interact with the audience.

WESTK FUN FEST 2025

The six-week-long FunFest staged across West Kowloon Cultural District captivates Hong Kong with nearly a hundred family-oriented activities including interactive performances, theatre experiences, large-scale outdoor art installations, free programmes and workshops.

CELLOMANIA: NICOLAS ALTSTAEDT PLAYS WALTON

German-French cellist Nicolas Altstaedt reunites with Hong Kong Sinfonietta in their season-opening concert to perform Walton’s Cello Concerto, a centrepiece of 20th century cello literature, under the baton of Music Director Christoph Poppen.

SU SHI

Mao Weitao returns to the Hong Kong stage after 10 years, headlining the Zhejiang Xiaobaihua Yue Opera Troupe’s latest Yue opera production, Su Shi. The brand new work is a stage adaptation of the life of Song dynasty scholar Su Shi, one of the most celebrated poets in Chinese history.

DAVID GREILSAMMER: LABYRINTH

David Greilsammer returns to Hong Kong with his newest award-winning project Labyrinth, a musical representation of a recurring dream of an infinite labyrinth. Labyrinth is made of seven musical chapters, each featuring music from different periods, styles and genres, each chapter representing part of the journey of his dream.
