In spring 2025, join the party at WestK FunFest – an annual family event taking place indoors and outdoors around the Art Park, Freespace and the Xiqu Centre.
The weeks-long festival offers an exciting programme of free and ticketed multimedia performances by local and international artists, dazzling large-scale immersive installations, artist-led workshops and captivating interactive experiences for audiences of all ages.
Highlight international events include Carnival of the Animals, a spellbinding multimedia reimagining of Saint-Saëns’ classical work by internationally renowned Australian contemporary circus Circa, La bulle, a magical, one-of-a-kind outdoor performance by Canadian physical theatre and dance company CORPUS featuring a Pierrot mime and a transparent bubble tent, and a new immersive theatre experience created collaboratively by UK arts company Fevered Sleep and local artists and children.
