GOOD MUSIC FOR KIDS: FAMILY FILM FAVOURITES
Presenter Alasdair Malloy is returning with another bold, brilliant and blockbusting programme. You will enjoy the music of Harry Potter, Star Wars, Frozen, Toy Story, Despicable Me, and will be transported into a world of fantasy and adventure, under the baton of conductor Ray Chan. Don’t forget to come dressed up in your most creative costumes!

RICHARD HAMBLETON: THE LAST SHADOWS
Organised by HKwalls, the exhibition features artworks by Richard Hambleton, one of the pioneering leaders in the street art scene, inviting audiences to embark on a profound exploration of the Shadowman’s evolution. As you progress through the exhibition, you will be immersed in the conscious and subconscious minds of Hambleton.

This exhibition features seven young artists who experiment with various medium, elevating everyday mundane objects to new heights. Exhibiting artists include Ma Yee Man Agnes, Elaine Chiu, Gordon Chi, Leung Lok Hei Giraffe, Wong Chun Ho Harris, Leung Siu Fung Hugh and Mizuki Nishiyama.

SWIRE DENIM SERIES: SOULFUL JAZZ EVENING WITH TED LO
Internationally renowned Hong Kong jazz legend Ted Lo joins forces with phenomenal songstress Janice Vidal and pre-eminent guitarist Eugene Pao for two evenings of soulful songs and original compositions, accentuated by the orchestral vigour of HK Phil with conductor Gerard Salonga.
26 & 27 January – Hong Kong Cultural Centre
Based on extensive research of iconic works by Cubists and 20th century masters including Pablo Picasso, Juan Gris, Paul Cézanne, Fernand Léger and Giorgio Morandi, Muniz creates these unique works using a hybrid technique of photographing handcrafted, three-dimensional elements and reprocessing them through photographic collages.

HONGKONG MACHINES X CAT MASK BOY: TIMELESS ENCOUNTER
The exhibition accompanies the release of the first local crossover comic book co-created by the two artists Felix Ip and Linus Liu, and features comics drawings and the inspiration process of the comics artists. Hong Kong Arts Centre also organises a series of events, including artist talks and workshops.

BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION BY FIVE DAUGHTERS
China National Peking Opera Company’s new adaption and cross-genre transplantation of popular Yue opera classic Birthday Celebration by Five Daughters has been created for the debut of its newly established Youth Troupe. It is a grand showcase of the impressive skill and versatility of the company’s young performers.
