EVENT DESCRIPTION

WAIT! by N.A.B. MUSIC HK is a bold, musical exploration of life, choices, and second chances.

Set in a surreal place, the Styx river, the play brings together a motley group of souls: a poet guillotined during the French Revolution, a 20th-century businessman entangled in shady deals, a Hong Kong fighter
who never got to follow his dream, a teenager whose life was cut short too soon, and a dazzling singer whose death hides a scandalous secret. At the center stands Emmeline, a seemingly ordinary woman who
has waited almost nine years for her judgment — until the arrival of a mysterious offer changes everything.

Guided by Chantal and the divine bureaucrats Hades and Zeus, the group is granted 72 hours to relive one moment of their earthly lives. But to seize this chance, they must first uncover the invisible bond that ties their destinies together. Each character is forced to confront the choices they made — and the regrets they still carry.

Mixing humor, tragedy, philosophy, and bursts of dazzling music — from French timeless hits to pop electro music, to original compositions — WAIT! is both a cosmic comedy and a poignant reflection on our own choices. It asks the question we all fear and dream of: if you could go back, just once, what would you change?

Through this polyptych of dance, musical compositions, and acting, WAIT! promises an entertaining and enlightening experience for the whole family — a story about life, death, and the dreams we carry with us.

In French, with English and Chinese surtitles.
