Maison&Objet Intérieurs Hong Kong 2025
3 December 2025 - 6 December 2025
EVENT DESCRIPTION
Maison&Objet, the world’s leading brand for international design, interior decoration and lifestyle, is set to return to Hong Kong with an expanded event, reinventing the existing model of the professional exhibition: Maison&Objet Intérieurs Hong Kong 2025.
Following the success of its 2024 inaugural edition, the rebranded identity as Maison&Objet Intérieurs Hong Kong will embrace the theme “Crossroads”: a celebration of cultural convergence, sustainable innovation, and the fusion of traditional craftsmanship with cutting-edge design. The event aims to solidify Hong Kong’s position as Asia’s premier hub for design, lifestyle, innovative perspectives and global collaboration.
Scheduled to take place from 3 to 6 December 2025 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, the hybrid event will bring together the 3 essential elements for design professionals in Asia: Inspiration, Discovery, Encounters:
- Inspiration will be provided by the first section, “Design Factory”, exploring the 2025 theme “Crossroads” across 4 pavilions curated by international talents.
- “Design Showcase” will lead the visitors into a path of Discovery, with a panorama of interior design expressions from 9 global house names.
- Encounters will then happen inside “Le Club”, a business lounge dedicated for design players to enjoy networking and F&B experiences, giving rise to new creative collaborations.
In total, 16 renowned designers and curators, 200+ brands, craftsmen and artists will offer design professionals and afficionados alike an immersive new design experience in the heart of the most vibrant Asian metropolis.
Design Factory
A curated exhibition dedicated to surprise and inspire, Maison&Objet Design Factory 2025 will artfully display design features, objects and furniture with a focus on sustainability, material innovation and cultural dialogue, proposing proactive solutions for the modern world. At its heart are 4 immersive pavilions, spanning a total of 900 square meters and showcasing over 200 creations from around 80 brands worldwide, curated by global visionaries.
Visitors will first be invited to discover an international panorama of collectible design, a new discipline at the border of design and art, under the curation of Clélie Debehault and Liv Vaisberg, founders of the Collectible shows in Brussels and New York. Shifted Mirrors: Fragments of a Dreamed East will present exceptional works from the most innovative designer-artists, carefully chosen from across Europe, Asia and North America, to interact in a setting imagined by Ann Chan, founder of Hong Kong Hero Design studio. This first pavilion will invite you to wander from courtyards to salons, in a dreamed habitat blending Asia and the West.
Belgian designer Lionel Jadot will then immerse the visitor in Anthropocene Adhocsime: an experimental hotel suite shaped by imagination and creativity in materials and techniques. No one has pushed further the reflection and experimentation on the reemploy of materials or the use of local know-hows to produce design works, with a distinctive aesthetic marked by the climate issues. A commitment of total sincerity which earned him the title of Maison&Objet Designer of the Year in 2024.
Breath of Bamboo, the third inception of this inspiring Design Factory is led by Korakot Aromdee. Based in Bangkok, Aromdee is undoubtedly the Master of bamboo. The installations will masterfully implement unique talents and know-how from Thai craftsmen to invite us to step into a reverie in his creative imagination, but also to learn the techniques that give birth to his works.
For her second exhibition in Hong Kong, French trend-hunter Elizabeth Leriche takes us on an immersive walk through the Living Matters. With a selection of unexpected and unique design objects and furniture sourced around the world, Leriche explores new design narratives through 3 atmospheres, delivering her personal exploration of the current trends in design, curated with sensitivity and poetry.
Design Showcase
The Inspiration will lead to Discoveries in the 8 unique interior designs of the Maison&Objet Design Showcase 2025. There, in a journey from West to East, 9 of the most recognised designers in the world will unleash their creativity to apply their talents and imagination to the design of a dedicated space. They come from Paris, Dubai, New Delhi, Shanghai, Hong Kong and Seoul, each inspired by the unique style and culture of their metropolis, and each expressing the current need for hybrid functions and usages in hospitality and residential spaces. Each of the 8 living spaces (lobby, lounges, gardens, homes, bars, etc.) is designed in collaboration with major brands and exceptional craftsmen, who put to music the creative visions of the star interior designers. One of them will be an award-winning collaboration with the prestigious French institution Le Mobilier National.
Stay tuned for the announcement of their names and projects in October!
Le Club
Last but not least, Le Club, a new feature inspired by Maison&Objet’s Paris edition business lounge, will materialise Encounters and business activations. It will serve as an exclusive networking hub for the industry professionals visiting the exhibition. As part of Le Club, a dedicated Business Programme will enable fruitful dialogues between designers, brands, artisans and hoteliers, design lovers, to generate concrete and productive business exchanges beyond the event.
At a time when the key players in design are gathered in the territory, with the Business of Design Week (BODW) and DesignInspire orchestrated by the Hong Kong Design Centre and Hong Kong Trade and Development Council respectively, Maison&Objet Intérieurs aims at becoming the central hub and meeting place to unfold the future of design in Asia and beyond.
