The Story of Beethoven

Hailing from Bonn, Beethoven defied the onset of deafness by composing monumental music ahead of his time. Micah Sandt in the role of Beethoven’s assistant Ferdinand Ries affords us a gripping account of the legendary composer’s intimate life and music. CCOHK performs Beethoven’s most impactful symphonies while Yoonie Han takes to the stage as the secret inspiration behind the great composer’s most impassioned piano works.

The Bonn Man is based on a script by Leanne Nicholls.

Performed in historical costumes.

Set design and lighting by Ernesto Maurice Corpus.
