Our Portfolio Building Intensive will focus on developing existing skills and on teaching you a wide range of new techniques and processes.

While you will be experimenting with new media and materials, an emphasis will be placed on building a strong foundation in the formal qualities of art making including composition, space, form, colour, texture and line. You will learn new skills that expand your visual vocabulary and assist you to gain confidence in connecting skills with your ideas and concept development.

You will be encouraged to bring your own images and ideas to the intensives for a truly tailored experience that will quickly help you build your process portfolio and visual journals.

ABOUT THE ARTIST / ORGANISER

Merryn Trevethan, Art Teacher.

Australian contemporary artist and art educator, specialising in painting and drawing.
Merryn has completed her Masters of Fine Arts
Painting in Australia and prior to ART club, she has taught workshops, classes and intensives to adults and children over the last 12 years.
