From a young talent during his 2010 Hong Kong recital debut with us to now a world-class master, Ning Feng brings a long-awaited solo feast to our 20th season. First-prize winner of the International Paganini Competition, and a laureate of the Queen Elisabeth and Menuhin competitions, Ning Feng is widely regarded as one of the world’s finest violinists.

Ning Feng plays the 1710 Stradivari violin, by kind arrangement with Premiere Performances.
Ning Feng made his Hong Kong Recital debut with us in 2010, where he arrived as a young violinist who garnered three standing ovations! Since then, he has become one of our most cherished collaborators, appearing more than six times in our Festival and in recital with Javier Perianes in 2014 and with the Southbank Sinfonia in 2015. Watching Ning Feng evolve into a global icon has been a privilege.
