Make Out Like It Never Happened and We Were Nothing

EVENT DESCRIPTION

Since the epidemic has become a part of our lives these two years, we react new-normal in different ways. The FuLeeLoy shopping mall (where Mist Gallery is located) was still a dead mall a year ago. What has been changed and why is changed when the dying mall is revitalizing held by a community-initiated person and individuals? The current status of FuLeeloy shopping centre somehow reflect a certain aspect of Hong Kong’s surrounding environment at present. For this exhibition, Mist Gallery invited Landescape1823 to respond to this specific space.

Mist Gallery is an art gallery run by artists hidden in a dead mall (FuLeeloy shopping mall) and Landscape 1823 is an Art Collective that runs site-specific projects, creating works with different artists in a specific location, they have invited Gabby.n.Darren to create a site-specific work in Mist and also around the FuLeeLoy shopping Centre.
