EVENT DESCRIPTION
M+, Asia’s first global museum of contemporary visual culture in the West Kowloon Cultural District in Hong Kong, presents M+ at Night: Game Together on Friday, 7 June 2024 evening. The event will be a special night where dynamic lighting, energetic music, exciting creative activities and drinks take over the museum. Participants can unwind from the stresses of everyday life and connect with friends and like-minded souls.
M+ at Night in June 2024, with the theme ‘Game Together’, is inspired by video games that have come a long way and become a part of our daily lives, evolving from yesteryear’s consoles to today’s mainstream entertainment. Arcade games that once dominated the gaming market have become a source of inspiration for visual art, music, and dance. Come and experience the joy of playing video games, whether classic and indie, and explore the realm of retro video game through music, fashion, and design throughout the decades. The creative direction, concept, and curation of this edition of M+ at Night are a collaboration between M+ and Jason Swamy (Do What You Love Asia Ltd) and Hugo Belloy (Dreams and Dreams Ltd). Studio Raito is the collaborating light design studio for this series.
M+ at Night will take a short break after the June edition. The event will return in October 2024 with an exciting mix of brand-new themes and more great music and activities. Don’t miss this last edition before the summer. Programme details of M+ at Night on 7 June 2024 are as follows:
