The Jao Tsung-I Foundation held the “Lotus Luminus” Art Tech for the first time, we sincerely invite all friends to come.
Through the innovative interweaving of technology, art, music, light and shadow, Jao Lotus lively performing an artistic illusion beyond the traditional Chinese painting and calligraphy. Let’s come to enjoy this remarkable experience of Jao Lotus.
ABOUT THE ARTIST / ORGANISER
Jao Tsung-i (1917-2018), a world renowned contemporary scholar in Chinese Studies, devoted over 70 years of academic excellence, as well as mentorship to generations of students. He also created his own style of painting and calligraphy from integrating the essence of Chinese culture. He opened new directions on ideas, forms, implements, techniques and composition of his lotus painting – the ‘Jao’s Lotus’, which has been considered reaching a new and higher realm. Through light and digital animation, the audience will be immersed into the dynamic beauty of the ‘Jao’s Lotus’ and the sublimity of traditional Chinese art from a brand-new perspective.
