International Gala of Stars 2023

On 2-3 November, Hong Kong Ballet (HKB)’s International Gala of Stars 2023 will feature the world’s most talked-about ballet celebrities partnering HKB’s stellar artists in a glittering programme of thrilling masterpieces and stylish contemporary works for two nights only.

Guest stars include The Royal Ballet Principal Dancer Marianela Nuñez, the internationally renowned Daniil Simkin, Dutch National Ballet Principal Dancer Constantine Allen and National Ballet of China Principal Dancers Fang Mengying and Chen Zhuming. 

This dazzling must-see programme will include inspiring excerpts from Swan Lake, Le Corsaire, Don Quixote, Giselle and other classics alongside contemporary pas de deux by National Ballet of China. HKB Choreographer-in-Residence Hu Song Wei Ricky will premiere his irresistible Cantopop homage A Tribute to Leslie Cheung: I Am What I Amand Monica, and audiences will also be treated to intriguing new works from Wang Le and Ye Li as well as a special sneak peek of Andonis Foniadakis’ memorable salute to 1980s New Wave pop sensation Depeche Mode.
