[Fringe Festival 2026] A winter rendezvous with Zheng and Jazz

EVENT DESCRIPTION

The concert is divided into two halves: the first presents modern classics of the guzheng repertoire, while the second explores innovative jazz-inspired compositions, including newly arranged works.

The concert includes diverse performance formats—from guzheng solo and trio to collaborations with piano and sheng—the concert showcases the contemporary expressions of the guzheng, transcending traditional boundaries.

Amid the chill of winter, let the strings weave a warm tapestry of connection and joy, gather to embrace new sparks.
