Hailed by the South China Morning post as “full of energy and refinement”, the Romer String Quartet is one of the pre-eminent ensembles in Hong Kong.

The Romer String Quartet is bringing their new interactive concert to introduce kids to a string quartet! They’ll explain their instruments, techniques and the cool things a string quartet can do with music by Ravel, Puccini, Debussy, Piazzolla and George Crumb.

Join us for a fun concert and inspire your young children with classical music!

Suitable for ages 5+. The concert will be in Cantonese only.

ABOUT THE ARTIST / ORGANISER

Romer String Quartet (RSQ) is one of the most sought-after string quartets in Hong Kong. It gained wide acclaim for its international appearances at prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall in the US and Toppan Hall in Japan, and renowned festivals including the Hong Kong Arts Festival and Beare’s Premiere Music Festival. The quartet has constantly been seeking possibilities to go beyond the conventional approach through creative programming and is also known for its versatility in cross-disciplinary projects curated with acclaimed artists of diverse background.

Romer String Quartet has been the quartet-in-residence of Premiere Performances of Hong Kong since 2019.
