digiAFTEC®Serendip Module 2 – Making Sense: Shapes & Patterns

EVENT DESCRIPTION

digiAFTEC® Serendip will launch the second module in June, all about making sense of shapes and patterns with in-person workshops which link directly with the 5 online videos. Starting with a dot and a line and expanding into shapes and patterns that occur in nature, in music and dance movements and even theatre, the arts are in fact all around in our daily lives. By using the Tangram Approach™ ‘s seven tools and skills of observation, listening, feeling, reflection, imagination, interpretation and value, they can become a part of our critical thinking toolbox.

The in-person workshops will take place on 24-25 June at the Sheung Wan Civic Centre and incorporate theatre, visual arts, music and dance amongst other artforms. Workshop participants will receive free access to online content, plus a tote bag to enhance online activities for fun and flexible at-home learning.
