Since its opening late-September, AIRSIDE has not only brought in a myriad new entertainment, retail and dining experiences, but it has also promoted the sustainable development of art and culture through exhibitions and exciting programmes, in a mission to embrace the new urban lifestyle concept of wholeness.
This winter, AIRSIDE is getting ready to ring in its first Christmas in Hong Kong: starting November 23, 2023, “AIRSIDE Christmas: Winter Voyage” brings exciting events that marry holiday festivities, marine ecology and digital art in an unforgettable Christmas journey at AIRSIDE.
Don’t miss out on BLUTOPIA, the world’s first digital aquarium done by local non-profit A.L.A.N (Artists Who Love Animals and Nature) in collaboration with 12 creative units from around the world. Marine research data is transformed into an immersive underwater art experience that spans 3,000sqft at AIRSIDE. The exhibition will bring the majesty of the big blue from an international perspective in a multi-sensory journey through digital art and five zones built according to the unique characteristics of different ocean layers. Come and feel the resonance between art and marine ecological data.
In addition, there is the majestic 5-metre-tall “Snowflake Rhapsody”, crafted with over 2,300 pieces of recycle plastic. The magnificent structure is actually home to a captivating, interactive deep-water immersive experience that conveys the important message of marine conservation.
