At just 21, Jan Čmejla has already stunned the world with an impressive list of accolades, including winning the 2025 Leipzig Bach Competition, where he became the first Czech pianist to take the top honour in the competition‘s 75-year history. Praised by Gramophone as “one to watch… making waves on both sides of the Atlantic“, Jan will bring to Hong Kong works by J.S. Bach, the composer at the heart of his recent triumph, in a carefully curated programme. Expect an unforgettable performance filled with intensity, elegance, and youthful energy!
