For the first time in Asia, the magic of Europe’s most successful equestrian spectacular will gallop onto Hong Kong soil. CAVALLUNA – Gate to the Otherworld arrives at the Kai Tak Arena at the Kai Tak Sports Park, and is scheduled for 8 and 10 to 13 September 2026, offering Hong Kong audiences a singular opportunity: to witness the breathtaking fusion of European equestrian artistry and theatrical spectacle.
The Hong Kong Jockey Club (the Club) is the Exclusive Presenting Partner and Cultural Host for this show, which is part of its Year of the Horse campaign. Public ticket sales will begin on April 27, 2026. Club members can enjoy exclusive discounts on ticket purchases from 27 April to 31 May.
This world-class production, seen by over millions of guests across more than 30 European cities, transports audiences into a mystical realm where 54 magnificent horses, international dancers, and captivating storytelling unite in an unforgettable journey of adventure.
CAVALLUNA – Gate to the Otherworld is more than a horse show. It is an immersive theatrical experience that weaves a fantastical tale of magic, courage, and self-discovery. Audiences will follow the young sorceress Meerin, whose gift of bringing drawings to life sends her on an epic adventure against dark forces—and her own inner shadows.

- World-renowned equestrian talents such as Bartolo Messina, Kenzie Dysli, and exceptional newcomer Rudj Bellini from Italy.
- Spectacular riding performances: Audiences will be treated to breathtaking displays of equestrian skill, including daring trick riders and thrilling riding styles such as the Hungarian Post, where a single rider stands on two horses while guiding several more in a moving wave of power and precision. Most enchanting of all are the deeply moving liberty performances, where horses dance freely in the arena without reins or tack, responding purely to subtle cues and body language from their trainers, a beautiful and almost magical testament to trust and connection between horse and human.
