Romer String Quartet & Rachel Cheung

EVENT DESCRIPTION

The Romer String Quartet will be joined by Hong Kong star pianist Rachel Cheung for a night of Mozart and Dvořák.

The esteemed local quartet has made appearances at prestigious venues including Carnegie Hall (New York) and the Toppan Hall (Tokyo). The quartet is also active locally, making appearances at the Hong Kong Arts Festival, Taiwan Hong Kong Week and more. They have been Premiere Performances’ Quartet-in-Residence since 2018 and are a participating ensemble in Premiere Performances’ Chamber Music Schools Programme since 2019.

The Romer String Quartet will first perform the charming Mozart string quartet nicknamed “The Hunt”. In the second half of the programme, the Quartet will be joined by Rachel Cheung for the rich and colourful Dvořák Piano Quintet No. 2.
