Summer is coming!
And Hong Kong has plenty of art and cultural happenings to offer, from HK Phil chamber music concert to Phillips auction preview and M+ exhibition, from French May Arts Festival closing concert to Hong Kong Arts Centre Korean Women Indies movies, as well as digital and contemporary art exhibitions.

HK PHIL × TAI KWUN: CHAMBER MUSIC SERIES: THE JOY OF BACH
In this chamber concert, selected concertos and orchestral suites of the immortal Baroque master Johann Sebastian Bach will be brought to life by HK Phil musicians and harpsichord specialist David Chung.

PHILLIPS SPRING AUCTIONS
This preview of Phillips 20th Century & Contemporary Art & Design Sale will feature artworks by Pierre- Auguste Renoir, George Condo, David Hockney, Matthew Wong, Ernie Barnes and a group of rising female artists.

CITIES OF LIGHT – A LOVE AFFAIR BETWEEN FRANCE AND HONG KONG
Highlight of the French May Arts Festival 2022, the concert gathers renowned Hong Kong composer Leon Ko, pop diva Gin Lee and jazz vocalist Talie Monin, to present iconic Hong Kong songs and their French counterparts, like a Cantonese version of “La Vie en Rose”.

CRYPTYQUES
Masterminded by renowned Hong Kong photographer Wing Shya, this interactive exhibition aims to bridge the gap between the physical world and web3.0, by offering a hybrid experience that unlocks the metaverse.

ANTONY GORMLEY: ASIAN FIELD
This monumental work features about 200,000 clay figurines made in five days by 300 people of all ages from Xiangshan village (now Huadong Town in Guangzhou city) and is meant to be experienced from a single point of view.

WOMEN DIRECT. KOREAN INDIES! – KOREAN WOMEN INDEPENDENT FILM SERIES 2022
The programme highlights Korean women taking the stage to express themselves with films that are more widely available on global film distribution and festival circuits, gaining recognition and enriching different cultures.

THE SURREAL AND THE REAL
The gallery’s first exhibition features the artworks of George Condo, Liu Hongwei, Tagami Masakatsu, Zhang Gong, Enej Gala and Agnese Guido, creating a visual dialogue between the artists around surreal and realistic elements.

JCCAC HANDICRAFT FAIR
This creative platform for local crafters and artisans will offer free public programmes, including open studio, guided tours, arts demonstrations, as well as open air screening and live music performances.
