The Art of the Tiger
According to the Chinese zodiac, 2022 is the Year of the Tiger.
Considered as the “king of all beasts” and a symbol of strength, power, adventure and enthusiasm, tiger has been widely represented in art throughout the ages, originally in Asia, then in the West.
To celebrate the Lunar New Year, we travel in time and offer you a world tour in artworks starring tigers.
