ASIAN MIME LINK 2023 – CRAZY CITY
Mime demonstrates the absurdity of everyday life. Discover Asia’s most prominent mimes seeking to provide more exchange within Asian regions and encourage more joint mime production.
22 & 23 September – Jockey Club Black Box Theatre, JCCAC
Artistic director Wu Hoi Fai and French-Finnish actor Micah Sandt are delivering this fascinating story based on Martin Booth’s novel. Ready to explore British colonial Hong Kong in the 50s?

MATHIAS WOO DETECTIVE THEATRE: 13.67
Mathias Woo adapted the novel 13.67 into a new Detective Theatre production about a legendary detective in Hong Kong from 1967 to 2013. Each case touches upon Hong Kong’s social phenomenon and identifiable icons like tycoons, idols, kidnapping incidents, and bomb maniacs.

BENJAMIN GROSVENOR PIANO RECITAL, CHOPIN & LISZT
Acclaimed British pianist Benjamin Grosvenor returns to Hong Kong with a virtuosic and lyrical programme of Chopin and Liszt organised by Premiere Performances.

NATIONAL DAY CONCERT: A PANORAMA OF RIVERS AND MOUNTAINS
The National Day Concert features the Hong Kong premiere of Chinese composer Zhao Lin’s A Thousand Li of Rivers and Mountains, inspired by the only surviving work of the same title by the Northern Song Dynasty painter Wang Ximeng.
30 September – Hong Kong Cultural Centre, Concert Hall
In times of trouble, what can we learn from each other’s experience, how can we gain wisdom and find love in the midst? The performers are encouraged to lay bare their innermost feelings and life experience. They learn from each other, complement each other, and create an “organic theatre work” that is ephemeral but enduring in our memories.

Hong Kong Dance Company is kicking off its new Dance Season with this grand dance poem with stunning visuals, inspiring music, state-of-the-art lighting effects and an atmospheric olfactory experience.
29 September – 1 October – Sha Tin Tow Hall
Festive Korea 2023 has returned with more enriching and diverse programmes under the theme of “Closer to Korea”. With an array of 40 captivating cultural programmes spanning performing arts, visual arts, films, sports, K-Food, and educational experiences, Festive Korea 2023 promises an unforgettable journey into the heart of Korea.
