In our #culturalportraits series, we intend to present the different players of the artistic and cultural scene, from artists and performers to events or exhibitions’ organisers, and to the ones behind the curtain, the women and men handling the logistic and the technique, etc.
Hing Chao, Founder of the Intangible Cultural Heritage Earthpulse Society and of the Hong Kong Culture Festival shared with us the importance of keeping intangible culture and practices alive. Drawing differences and similarities from other cultures, the Festival highlights the relevance of these practices in history as much as in contemporary times.
