Parade Ring – Sha Tin Racecourse
The Year of the Horse Raceday will bring an exciting festive showcase to the stage! First of all, pop diva Kelly Chen will ignite the atmosphere with her powerful hit songs, then golden trio FAMA x Mak Ling-ling will join everyone to celebrate horse-year prosperity and wish racegoers a year of thriving success and rising fortune. Vibrant lion dancers will bring further auspicious energy, while jockeys will extend their New Year blessings. Come to the racecourse in person to fully immerse yourself in the festive joy and take home abundant horse-year luck.

Year of the Horse Themed Photo Hotspots
Public Entrance and forecourt – Sha Tin Racecourse
Sha Tin Racecourse will transform into a photo paradise on the big day, with two striking four-metre high horse sculptures with dynamic pose of running side by side, complemented by windmill arrays, festive peach blossoms, and New Year themed installations and decorations. The God of Fortune will roam the hotspots – don’t miss snapping a photo to soak up horse-year prosperity and take the luck home.
Take a photo with the Float
The Hong Kong Jockey Club joins the International Chinese New Year Night Parade on the first day of the Year of the Horse, sending heartfelt blessings as we welcome the new year. After the Parade, the float goes on display at the Year of the Horse Raceday at Sha Tin Racecourse on 19 Feb.
Year of the Horse Cup
The sporting centrepiece of the raceday, the Year of the Horse Cup, is sure to thrill! Top horses will be on parade at Sha Tin to vie for the first big honour of the horse year, displaying their finest galloping prowess.
