The Majestic Han: A Golden Age of Vigour and Cultural Integration Exhibition Lecture will be held on 20 June 2026 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
The lecture, titled “When Silk Paved its Way: The Story of Han’s Connection with the Western Regions”, will be delivered by Dr CHEUNG Shin-yee. Dr CHEUNG is Board Director of Hok Hoi Library and an award-winning travelogue writer. The session will lead participants to gain a deeper understanding of the connections between the Han dynasty and the Western Regions, while exploring how cultural exchange helped shape this remarkable period in history.
The lecture will take place at the Lecture Hall, Hong Kong Heritage Discovery Centre. A total of 110 seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
