WestK FunFest 2026: This is Classical Music?! Pop Surprise!

EVENT DESCRIPTION

Did you realise that a lot of music you come across every day are ACTUALLY classical music? And some of which you don’t even recognise.

The term “classical music” is sometimes given a stale and dated image, and some may even say that it’s boring and long.

Regardless of how this erroneous image was formed, Anna Lo, together with Vivian Ip, Hong Kong Sinfonietta and Yat Po Singers, will try to turn the image of “classical music” on its head and hopefully change your mind. They will show you that there are hidden gems in many of the pop songs and music we are familiar with…. we come across them in hotels, shopping malls, lifts and ads!
