EVENT DESCRIPTION

We sincerely invite audiences to come and enjoy Freespace x On & On Theatre Workshop Tit Hong Lane, the first live performance after the reopening of performing venues at West Kowloon Cultural District.

After the well-known co-presentation The Phenomenon of Man Revolver 2021, Waking Dreams in 1984 and 100% Hong Kong, West Kowloon Cultural District (WKCD) and On & On Theatre Workshop proudly present another collaboration. Research and Try-out of Tit Hong Lane are supported by WKCD Freespace. WKCD aims at supporting research and development of performing arts, encouraging cooperation and interaction between artists and specialists in different aspects. Tit Hong Lane includes the participation of urban studies academics and theatre experts, combining the research result with personal stories and memories, the play will be presented in a narrative theatre with the aid of multimedia presentation.

Tit Hong Lane merges social record and historic archive with imaginative elements such as personal memories, dreams and mystery, rebuilding every single detail of the Lane. Actors including Chan Ping-chiu will lead audiences to explore the connection between space and memories, taking you to the unseen city.
