Tidings and Tinsel with the Phoenix Quartet

EVENT DESCRIPTION

The Phoenix Quartet, formed in 2020 by four long-term residents of Hong Kong, is the only professional piano quartet in the city.  At one time they all stayed on Lantau Island, and became inspired by the Chinese name of Lantau Peak: Phoenix.  These passionate chamber music players hope to promote the piano quartet repertoire in Hong Kong.  They have performed at Haw Par Music, Tom Lee LIVE, the Chinese University of Hong Kong and S’way Music Studio.  Most recently, they performed at the new Steinway & Sons Gallery as part of the Hong Kong Museum of Art’s “The Sound of Art” concert series.  They have also appeared on RTHK’s arts TV show, “The Works”.
