EVENT DESCRIPTION
The Stroll Gallery by Stella A&C, which has championed the work of Korean artists based in Hong Kong, will host a group exhibition titled “Summer Stroll” from August 17th to September 14th. Coinciding with the sweltering summer months, this group showcase features the creations of five accomplished Korean female artists: Woojung Ghil, Suyeon Kim, Duri Baek, Lee Na and Jiyoon Jeong.
Woojung Ghil’s abstract works evoke the resilience of nature and tranquility of the human spirit. Suyeon Kim’s delicate glass drawings capture the fleeting moments of everyday life. Duri Baek’s paintings explore traces of existence through light and shadow. Lee Na’s fused traditional and contemporary imagery with vibrant seasonal symbols. Jiyoon Jeong illuminates modern society softly undulating shades of blue. These five artists together offer a rich, multifaceted experience of the summer season. The Stroll Gallery invites you to immerse yourself in their inspiring visions, which imbue the season with wonder, inspiration, and personal resonance.
The diverse, dynamic works of these five artists are poised to provide visitors with a richly satisfying summer experience. Moreover, to complement the exhibition, special summer drinks featuring traditional Korean beverages provided by KAVE will also be available for visitors to order during the exhibition period. The visitors can enjoy the gallery’s cozy café space, which is perfect for cooling off during the hot weather.
