EVENT DESCRIPTION

Deepen your immersion into the world of the Lotus-Born Master with a unique morning of Tibetan-style Kung-Fu. Laurence Brahm, approved to teach this lineage of martial arts by senior Jonang masters, will guide you through the internal and external animal forms that reinvigorate and realign the body and mind. This special experience of Himalayan qigong will be enhanced with a singing-bowl complement by experienced singing-bowl practitioner, spiritual guide, and Buddhistdoor Global columnist Rebecca Wong.

ABOUT THE ARTIST / ORGANISER

Laurence Brahm is an American-born, Beijing-based filmmaker, expeditionist, and Vajrayana practitioner. Having explored the Himalayas for decades, he leads Shambhala Studios, which produces the Lotus-Born Master series: a bold and creative movie series exploring the relationship between Padmasambhava, the central figure of Tibetan Buddhism, and quantum science. He is devoted to sharing the Himalayan Wisdom Traditions with the world through contemporary, innovative media. He is a passionate practitioner of Chinese martial arts and recently screened his movie Gate of Nine Dragons at JP Cinema in Causeway Bay in August 2024.
