SAR Philharmonic Classics for Kids Christmas Concerts

The SAR Philharmonic Orchestra, in collaboration with Creative Collab and Baumhaus, invites you to a festive family outing of orchestral music and live theatre. Enjoy enchanting renditions of musical masterpieces and beloved Christmas songs, brought to life by a vibrant troupe of singers and dancers. The Christmas Fairy Symphony Classics for Kids Concerts will be held on Saturday, 14 December, at 2:30 PM and 6:30PM, and on Sunday, 15 December, at 11AM and 2:30PM at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, Wan Chai.

Under the baton of Music Director KK Chiu, this year’s concert will follow the adventures of Melody, Rhythm, and Dynamics – three young fairy musicians from the North Pole – who are on a heartwarming journey to restore the Christmas spirit. With the guidance of Santa and the fairy orchestra, they explore whimsical workshops and snowy landscapes, learning the true power of friendship and teamwork.

Will they create a symphony strong enough to save the holiday? Experience a magical tale of self-discovery and joy this Christmas season!

With the help of the audience, the performers will showcase a variety of musical forms, instruments, and interactive activities, creating an engaging, educational, and immersive experience that is suitable for all ages.

All net ticket receipts support music scholarships. You may also consider making an additional donation to support the orchestra’s charitable mission.
