Roy Cheng: Cat Managers

EVENT DESCRIPTION

Whenever I pass by different shops and come across cats, they always stop my step and attract me to play with them. Whether they are cats from cafes, pharmacies, florists, or bookstores, each cat shopkeeper has its own story. Cats enliven the city. Cats seem to remind us to slow down our pace and truly experience the joy of life.

Roy Cheng:Hong Kong artist, favour in creating realistic oil paintings, with the theme of capturing basketball players. He is also keen on portraits and animal subjects. He has held exhibitions in Hong Kong and Taiwan. After adopting his first stray cat Bobo in 2014, he became a cat lover. In 2018, he adopted another pair of stray cats, Jin Jin and Duo Duo, and appointed them to be the shopkeepers of his studio.

*In order to support animal care, the artist will donate part of the proceeds to an animal protection organization Support Treasure Life, and Lemna will also donate all remaining proceeds.
