Premiere Performances and WestK present the American trio New Jazz Underground, showcasing their distinctive blend of traditional jazz with contemporary influences of Swing, Hip-Hop, Afro-House and Afro-Cuban styles.

The award-winning trio comprises three Juilliard graduates – saxophonist Abdias Armenteros, bass player Sebastian Rios and drummer TJ Reddick. Celebrated as rising stars in the jazz world, they have worked closely with jazz masters such as Wynton Marsalis, Victor Lewis and ELEW. They have been recognised with 2023 DCJazzPrix and the 2024 ASCAP Herb Alpert Young Jazz Composer Award, and have established a large following among audiences at international festivals and on a variety of online platforms.
