EVENT DESCRIPTION

As a regular arts education programme curated by the HKAC, 【Out of the Cube】is a creative arts learning space offering the audience a participatory learning experience including crafts, reading, interactive exploration, visual arts and more. To explore the infinite possibilities of arts, various combinations of workshops with innovative education kits are available to all walks of audiences based on the learning needs of different audiences. We sincerely invite ALL OF YOU to join us. Let’s explore art together and meet like-minded friends!

In the space of 【Out Of The Cube】, we invite all of you to join us at the HKAC to PLAY, to LEARN, and to CREATE. Since 2020, the HKAC Ambassadors (Educational Stream) have designed and offered several creative education campaigns in promoting arts education to the general public. In the second year of this programme, we have expanded the target audiences from family and kids, teenagers and retirees to audiences with special needs, ethnic minorities and other non-Chinese speakers. Throughout the training sessions, the Ambassadors have developed a deeper sense of understanding of the target audiences, their cultural differences and tips to create a more diverse and inclusive environment for all to enjoy arts.

Learning together benefits more than alone. 【Out Of The Cube】hopes to provide a co-learning space where the community learns and grows together, and to connect with everyone via arts. The HKAC invites the public, schools and local NGOs to join this programme. Together in this space, we strive to make arts accessible to everyone regardless of their background, language, race, and gender and to make the arts accessible for everyone.
