MUSIK11: Winter Sparks

EVENT DESCRIPTION

For musicians, live performances are crucial to demonstrating their passion while reaching a broader audience. This December, K11 Art Mall is presenting MUSIK11: Winter Sparks, in partnership with local music power Daymaker Creatives and TONE MUSIC. Over the span of 5 weeks, more than 20 emerging local artists and singer-songwriters will perform at K11 Art Mall Piazza, revealing their true selves with the music they created.

On Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, an eclectic line-up of pop groups and local bands will be counting down with you, including Yellow!, a band that recently celebrated their 10th anniversary; award-winning singer-songwriter Ng Lam Fung whose career began from busking; popular girl group Lolly Talk, J-pop-style girl group Otome Syndream and more. They are bringing their A-game to create a must-see local music event.

There is a TONE MUSIC Cover Art Exhibition at the same time, featuring the music album covers of nearly 200 shortlisted entries for “TONE MUSIC AWARDS 2022”.

Since its launch in 2012 at K11 Art Mall, MUSIK11 strives to support the development of the local music scene and serves as a platform to showcase the local talents as well as enable the public to enjoy quality music from Hong Kong. K11 Art Mall has hosted over 200 free live gigs for the community, with a focus on impromptu exchanges between performers and live audiences. K11 Art Mall is a place for young audiences to reacquaint themselves with the culture and value of local music, and a place to unleash the unique power of live performance. Bring the heat up this holiday season with local music!

1) Explore the idea of Fika — a widely shared lifestyle philosophy in Sweden on leisure and green living — at “Swedish Winter 2022”, organized jointly by Consulate General of Sweden in Hong Kong and the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong

2) The only one of its kind in Hong Kong — FTLife and Hoegaarden soundwave Christmas tree

3) FTLife “Power Up” Pop up store, providing over 30 special offers on dining, shopping, entertainment, health, and insurance
