EVENT DESCRIPTION
Let’s Jam, Let’s Listen, Let’s Play — with Clay!
The touring exhibition MusiCLAY, organised by St. James’ Creation under the Rehabilitation Services of St. James’ Settlement, will be held from 14 to 16 November 2025 at The Mills with the grand finale MusiCLAY Days, marking the conclusion of the third chapter of the cross-disciplinary community arts programme Our Stories.
Blending the tactile beauty of ceramics with the energy of music, MusiCLAY invites the public to explore the theme visible sound, hearable ceramics. Through ceramic instruments, rhythmic beats, and pop melodies, the programme encourages everyone to play music, play clay, creating with their hands, listen with their hearts, and feel how art resonates through everyday life.
The event features five highlights: a hands-on clay jamming and sculpture experience, rhythmic ceramic percussion workshops, interactive art installations, a grand finale live music performance by local band The Hertz, and a MusiCLAY project exhibition that reflects on the entire creative journey. Whether you are a seasoned art lover, a curious neighbor, or someone discovering art for the first time, MusiCLAY offers a space to find your rhythm, express your voice, and connect through creativity.
