“Magic Carpet Ride: Scribble & Babble” Illustration Exhibition by Ms Yu & Mandy Chan

Conversing with children is like riding on a magic carpet —— for what we think as babble and non-sense can ignite imagination and lead us onto an exhilarating journey through the untamed galaxies of their minds.  

Based on Ms. Yu’s most recent publication, this exhibition features 8 pairs of drawings by children and local artist, Chan Wai Mandy, in response to excerpts from the book.  

Let’s listen with our eyes, see with our hearts and take a ride around a whole new world of wonder.

Chan Wai Mandy

An illustrator based in Hong Kong who focuses on digital and traditional painting. Illustration serves as an open door for sharing her daily inspiration and exploring her inner fantasy.She transforms her imagination by narrating encouraging stories, healing her readers as well as herself along the comfort-seeking journey.
