Agnes Leung: Madi-verse of Madness

YOUNGCLUB Gallery is delighted to present our second Gallery Online Viewing Room, Madi-verse of Madness, a solo presentation of local rising star Agnes Leung. On public view from 10 Feb 2022 to 17 March 2022, putting together a series of witty, mad and chiasmatic collection of our emerging artist, loved by major galleries and collectors. In Madi-verse of Madness works the attempt of to read a faithful portrayal of the crazy, fast-growing, and spectacular meteorology within the internet.

“I love how they are all different induvial; every creature, every story, and every color are unique in their own storytelling and spirits,” as quoted by the artist herself in an interview. Agnes ‘attention draws to random minds in daily life, sense of rebellion, adult and dark humor; from watching surgery films, dermatology documentaries to studying deep ocean exotic unknown creatures.

ABOUT THE ARTIST / ORGANISER

Leung Po Ying Agnes received her Bachelor of Arts in 2020. She works on monsters and creatures’ study which by her imagination and living experience. Her painting works include drawings, collage, and paint on wood. Madi-verse of Madness presents you her fantasy world.
