EVENT DESCRIPTION
M+, Asia’s global museum of contemporary visual culture in the West Kowloon Cultural District in Hong Kong, presents a brand-new M+ at Night series for October, November, and December 2024, first Friday of the month. The series returns with a fresh new look, under a collaboration with Warner Music Asia, elevating the event to unparalleled enjoyment and experience through a series of exciting music performances and activities.
On Friday, 4 October 2024 evening, M+ at Night: Couture Rhapsody will be a special night where dynamic lighting, energetic music, exciting creative activities and drinks take over the museum. Participants can unwind from the stresses of everyday life and connect with friends and like-minded people.
Fashion and music have the power to set trends, shape culture, and define an era. If garments could speak, what stories would Rihanna’s 2015 Met Gala iconic The Yellow Queen gown tell? A pop music icon, a dress inspired by imperial Chinese attire, and China’s first couture artist, Guo Pei—this moment stands as a true embodiment of the intersection of music, art, and fashion. To complement the upcoming Special Exhibition Guo Pei: Fashioning Imagination, the October 2024 edition of M+ at Night partners with Warner Music Asia to create a night with the theme ‘Couture Rhapsody’, bringing the couture artist’s daring style to life in a spectacle where sound and fashion converge in a celebration of artistry and innovation.
The exciting line-up of M+ at Night: Couture Rhapsody on 4 October 2024 is as follows:
