What are Hong Kong poets experiencing in this ever-changing city? We invite Fu Hou, a Hong Kong poet to share his new poetry collection “Post-historical Creature” on July 31 at Lemna. Come and explore how the city’s past and present inspires his poetry.
Harrison Wong, Hong Kong Artist will also share how he interprets “Post-historical Creature” through graphic design.

About “Post-historical Creature”
One binds 4 years of poetical writing debut
“Post Historical Creature”, Fuhou
“Who not roll into scene on history” – 小旅行
Post-Historic, a primordial age reintroduced, that poets write against inevitability. Poetry had shattered along with the world crumbling into bits. Classic Chinese Language established our poet Fuhou, he is now an airport shifting creature. Apart from alcohol and tobacco, he shifts his poetic Rex between classics and slang, between historical events and news, and towards the apocalyptic tide. His debuting book of printed poetry binds 84 writing pieces. Dark humour to tie these writings sorted in 「興、觀、群、?」four Confucius-inspired categories of poetic works.
ABOUT THE ARTIST / ORGANISER
Fuhou, Hong Kong poet, author of poetry book ”Post-historical Creature”. Majoring in Chinese Language, the poet now works in air cargo industry.Harrison Wong, a Hong Kong artist. Trained in photography and media arts, his works centre around humanness and infuse often a slash of peat.
