About The Event
After the publication of H. G. Wells’ The Time Machine at the end of the nineteenth century, time manipulation became a major theme of fictional works and thrived in genre fiction and film and television works. Why travel through time and space? What human desire does time manipulation reveal? In this sharing session, Faker and Ernest Ip will discuss ways of manipulating time in contemporary fiction and explore various modes of time travel.
