About Guest
Chiu Shu, from Taiwan Miaoli Hakka, graduated from Taipei University of the Arts Department of Drama, majoring in performance, stage drama performance, songwriting, singing, and harmony. She used to be the drummer and chorus of the band ‘百合花’, and the bassist and chorus of the band 木良真真’. She endowed the music with Hakka nourishment and integrates the characteristic of theater performances. To empower Taiwan’s beautiful language and link it with music. The beauty of these collisions grows into a unique Hakka music that belongs to Chiu Shu.

About the sharing ‘Time of Chiu Shu’

Creation of the native language Hakka language started in 2016…

“Waiting a present for” means the “gift” in Hakka dialect, an item that you bring along as a guest. The album uses it as the theme to express the one-way action in the relationship, indicating inner curiosity, trust, anxiety, joy, hope, etc. The songs are constructed from the integration of different periods, showing the “waiting” and “walking” journey. Through the connection of music, questions, and narrations questions about how the relationship develops and ends. Maybe it is not finished yet, maybe the answer has been found, or a path is still pending. “Waiting a present for” are both waiting and searching, letting the voice speak, letting the music convey, and letting the audience participate in Chiu Shu’s life through hearing.
