EVENT DESCRIPTION
Cinema Day 2026 is one of the contribution programmes under the Hong Kong Popular Culture Festival 2026. Since its inception in 2023, the event has been immensely popular with the public, becoming a beloved and anticipated program. Each year, Cinema Day not only successfully attracts a large audience to theatres to experience the unique charm of the big screen, but also effectively boosts the overall movie-going atmosphere, injecting a strong vitality into the industry. This year, the Hong Kong Theatre Association will continue to organize Cinema Day, inviting all Hong Kong citizens to enthusiastically enter the theatres with a uniform and surprising ticket price, to inherit and promote Hong Kong’s unique cinema culture!
