EVENT DESCRIPTION

The 2024 Hong Kong City Art Fair will be held from November 29 to December 1, 2024, at the Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong (6/F). This year’s art fair will collaborate with 30 galleries, institutions, and artists from around the world to showcase a captivating array of contemporary and classic art, collectible, jewelry, and aesthetic lifestyle luxuries, creating a series of immersive artistic scenes.

This art fair will feature four major sections: “Gallery Collection,” “AIC Great Bay Art Project,” “International Female Contemporary Art,” and “Oriental,” exploring the multifaceted relationships between tradition and classicism, international and contemporary art, urbanism, and commercialization. Additionally, six art salons will be held to promote artistic exchange, cultural dialogue, and cross disciplinary creative collaboration.

The “Gallery Collection” will showcase outstanding works from established artists through selected galleries from around the world. The “Oriental” section will focus on the interaction and dialogue between East Asian traditional art and contemporary culture, featuring classic creations from Japan, Singapore, Taiwan, and mainland China. Meanwhile, the “AIC Great Bay Art Project” and “International Female Contemporary Art,” as specially designated areas, aim to help young independent artists and female artists access new art markets, providing more opportunities for emerging artists to showcase their work and engage in dialogue on an international platform, while illustrating the diverse possibilities of contemporary art development in everyday life.

The Hong Kong City Art Fair is a collaborative effort between the renowned Hong Kong art group Art of Nature Int’l and the well-known art fair brand Sino Art Creative & Extensive City Art Fair. With the mission of "Collecting the Artistry in the City" and focusing on the urban lifestyle experience, the fair is committed to presenting a precisely positioned, finely curated, small-scale, high-quality hotel-style art exhibition centered around modern and contemporary art. Since its first art fair in 2019, it has garnered significant attention and recognition from the market, media, and collectors.
