Following our partnership in 2024, Harvey Nichols and YIDI ART GALLERY reunite to present you An Everlasting Bloom, a new body of work by Cheng Zhe, the renowned Chinese contemporary painter whose Little Girl continues to move hearts across generations.
In this deeply personal collection, Cheng invites viewers to journey through the adventures of the Little Girl, a character born from his reflections on his daughter. Each painting becomes a tender portal into their shared memories — moments of laughter, curiosity, wonder, and quiet love — that together form memories that intertwine to form the timeless bloom of their bond.
Through Cheng’s refined brushwork and poetic palette, emotion unfolds into visual poetry. Every canvas reveals the delicate balance between innocence and awakening, fragility and strength — capturing a narrative that blossoms with compassion and truth.
