The Hong Kong Fringe Club is excited to announce that the Fringe Festival 2025 will take place from January 2 to January 26, 2025. This vibrant and creative event invites artists to showcase their talents, featuring over 100 performances across diverse art forms, including classical music, jazz, contemporary pop, traditional Chinese music, theater, dance, multimedia, film screenings, workshops, and art therapy concerts.

The festival will showcase performances from local, Macau, mainland Chinese, and international artists, featuring both emerging talents and renowned masters. Participants include internationally acclaimed jazz guitarist Eugene Pao, jazz maestro Ted Lo, two-time world harmonica champion CY Leo, award-winning pianist Rachel Cheung, and Hong Kong’s first all-female jazz orchestra, among others. Over 1,000 artists will be involved, making this a highly anticipated event in the arts community.

A Return After 13 Years

The Fringe Club is Hong Kong’s pioneering arts venue and a cradle for artists. The return of the Fringe Festival after 13 years holds significant meaning for the local arts scene, providing a platform for cultural expression and community participation.

Since its inception, the Fringe Club has been a crucial supporter of artistic creation in Hong Kong, focusing on creating a diverse environment for local artists and providing technical and promotional support. The festival emphasizes respect and inclusion for artistic freedom, welcoming various art forms to showcase their talents.

ABOUT THE ARTIST / ORGANISER

Founded in 1983, the Fringe Club is a non-profit organization and charity promoting artistic creation in Hong Kong. It provides a larger space for local performers and artists to create, along with technical support and promotional assistance. Since its establishment, the Fringe Club has produced 28 arts festivals, organized 24 theater and dance original productions, participated in 68 cultural exchanges across 15 cities, and hosted over 1,600 exhibitions, 9,000 stage performances, and 3,300 community outreach activities.

The Fringe Club is located in the heart of Hong Kong at the intersection of Lower Albert Road and Wyndham Street, in a historic building listed as a Grade I Heritage Site. The venue includes the Jockey Club Studio Theatre, Fringe Underground, Dairy, and the Anita Chan Lai-ling Gallery.
